Emilie is a Creative Director for Digital Experience Design based in the Gensler New York office. Her work seamlessly blends digital and analogue experience to create the future of human experiences. Internationally known for her thought leadership in multi-sensory design, her expertise lies in using the five senses to tell stories that deepen engagement; inspiring wonder through innovation; and fostering world-class teamwork through play. With 25+ years of work in design, performance, events, hospitality, technology and new media, her fluency as a leader across diverse creative industries has successfully led her to work with leading cultural and corporate clients including the Museum of the Future in Dubai, NEW MUSEUM, IDFA DocLab, Sundance New Frontiers, Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, Liberty Science Center, Museum of Sex, Deloitte, RedBull and PepsiCo. As a Global Practice Area Leader for DXD, she develops and leads relationships that deepen an integrated approach to creating the future of architecture. Emilie believes that art, design, and imagination can be used to positively transform society from the inside out and is a champion of purpose-driven design. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies & Contemporary Dance from Vassar College and a Masters of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute.
