Kirk is the Director of Hospitality for Gensler’s Asia Pacific region, based in the firm’s Singapore office. He is captivated by how people interact with the built environment and what makes for a meaningful experience. His hospitality design process integrates clients’ business goals, revenue-generating opportunities, and planning for efficient operations, as well as a foundation in the psychology principles that contribute to a great guest experience. With a portfolio of projects spanning across the U.S., China, and Thailand, Kirk believes that regardless of differences between global markets, directing design practices requires a similar outcome to achieve beautiful, efficient, and economically viable designs.
Kirk holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and a Master of Architecture from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
