Jim Collins, AIA, CDT, LEED AP

Jim is a Principal, Technical Director, and Regional Design Realization Leader based in the Gensler Charlotte office. Jim’s background crosses many practice areas and coast-to-coast locations, with extensive project experience working with financial service firms, professional service firms, community, government, health, and wellness clients. He brings a keen eye for construction administration and coordination on project sites, as well as a deep technical skillset. Clients consistently rely on Jim as a trusted advisor, leveraging his sharp focus on delivery, cost management, and attention to detail. Jim’s specialized approach to project delivery allows him to be a better steward of clients’ budgets and, ultimately, a better advocate for their projects. He earned his architectural license in 2013.
