Tim Pittman
Director of Research, Principal
As Director of the Gensler Research Institute, Tim provides strategic leadership and insight across the Institute’s 50+ research projects funded each year. His signature research projects include Gensler’s ongoing Workplace Surveys, City Pulse Surveys, and Experience Index efforts, as well as ongoing leadership of the Institute’s Climate Action Through Design report series. Tim brings expertise in survey design, analysis, data visualization, and communications, with a focus on translating research findings into actionable insights that can impact design projects and strategies. His education includes a degree in Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard, a Masters in City Design and Social Science from the London School of Economics, and continuing education in research and statistical methods from NYU, the University of Michigan, and MIT.
