Jim Williamson, FIIDA, LEED® AP ID&C

Jim brings more than 30 years of experience in strategy, programming, interior design and delivery of transformative workplace settings. With experience in aligning workplace design to organizational strategy, his clients include consulting, accounting, media, and federal government. Jim has been a key contributor to the firm’s workplace research. Jim brings operational expertise to the business of design, having established key performance metrics, systems, and processes to establish, improve, and maintain design management across Gensler. As an active leader in the design profession, he held the role of International President of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and Chair of the IIDA College of Fellows. Jim earned his Bachelor of Science in Interior Design at the University of Maryland, College Park.
