Jing Chang

Jing is a Co-Studio Director and Principal in Gensler’s Shanghai office. With over two decades of experience in architecture, Jing has worked on a variety of project types both in China and in the U.S., ranging in size, scale, and complexity. Her cross-discipline experience — from retail and hospitality to large scale mixed-use developments and commercial towers — gives her a broad perspective on how to bring value in design solutions that best accommodate the client’s objectives.

Jing is extensively involved in a number of large-scale projects, being responsible for project implementation from design through construction administration. Her portfolio comprises many built projects that have received widespread recognition from the industry as well as clients. Orchestrating her excellent communication and leadership skills, Jing builds unique and strong teams that collaborate creatively with creative visions and brings those visions into reality.
