As the Co-Regional Managing Principal of the North Central Region, Todd’s career showcases more than 30 years of driving impactful, engaging experiences for clients and communities across sectors. His engaged, people-centric leadership style centers on growing talent and advocating for a dynamic team culture that celebrates innovation and authenticity.
In his time at Gensler, Todd has earned a reputation for driving boundary-pushing projects for high-visibility clients including NVIDIA, Marriott, General Motors, and JPMorgan Chase. He has been a leading design voice for award-winning projects including the Knoll Chicago Flagship, 167 Green, Willis Tower, and Uber Chicago and is a sought-after thought leader on topics ranging from the future of work to design’s impact on our cities.
Todd is a key mentor across the firm’s Client Relationships and Design Synergy Communities and currently supports Gensler’s Board of Directors in exploring initiatives that will help shape the firm’s workplace design practice into the future. He holds a master’s degree in architecture and bachelor’s degrees in architecture and interior design from Savannah College Art and Design. Todd has been inducted into the IIDA College of Fellows and received the Henry Adams Medal from the AIA.
Beyond his influential work at Gensler, Todd is active in the broader design and real estate community, currently serving as on Urban Land Institute’s Global End User Product Council, Board Chair of Marwen, and a Board Member of the Design Museum of Chicago and The Number Project.
