Fernando Vasconcelos

Fernando is a Design Director at Gensler Mexico City, who is focused on shaping the built environment. His career spans a wide range of projects, including public and private urban housing, multifamily residential complexes, beachfront housing, as well as buildings dedicated to education, healthcare, and hospitality, among others. With expertise in each phase of a project, Fernando’s work begins with the conceptualization phase and extends across the entire process to construction. He has been an adjunct faculty member at the School of Architecture, Urbanism, and Civil Engineering at Universidad Iberoamericana, Santa Fe Campus, for over 20 years, imparting knowledge and skills to generations of architects. He also had the privilege of leading the Urban Design Workshop at the Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas for many years, held at the Casa Barragán Studio.
