As a Design Director in Gensler’s Nashville office, Brian leads dynamic, collaborative teams committed to developing design processes for clients’ aspirational goals. With more than 15 years of global design experience, he navigates diverse projects, from small-scale buildings to intricate urban developments and master plans. Brian’s impact on Nashville’s built environment is apparent in transformative projects such as Fifth + Broadway, One 22 One Office Tower, and Nashville Yards.
A visionary with a holistic perspective, Brian believes that design shapes a larger ecosystem as he directs his teams to craft innovative, site-driven solutions that harmonize aesthetics, environmental sensitivity, and operational performance. His leadership style reflects a passion for design’s capacity to enhance the human experience.
Beyond his professional achievements, Brian is an committed community steward, serving as the Executive Board President of Saddle Up!, an organization dedicated to empowering children and youth with different abilities, by providing access to opportunities to grow through equine-assisted therapeutic experiences. He is also an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Urban Land Institute (ULI) as well as the Governance Committee of (NAIOP). Brian earned his Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Ball State University.
