Climate Action & Sustainability Leader
Yi Chun is the Climate Action & Sustainability Leader for Gensler’s APME and Greater China regions with more than 20 years of experience in the green building industry covering consultancy, research, academia, and business transformation. He has served on various professional committees, led numerous national research projects, and owns more than 30 publications.
Involved in more than a hundred green building and urban design projects, he has extensive experience in architecture design, BIM, building performance simulation, carbon benchmarking, energy and environmental audits, building commissioning, research and development of sustainable technology, and green and healthy building design consultancy. He advocates Integrated Design multidisciplinary approaches augmented by computational modeling and field engineering expertise to achieve high quality humanistic and sustainable design solutions. Yi Chun holds a Master of Architecture degree from the National University of Singapore, and a Doctor of Philosophy in the field of building performance and diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University.
