Bangalore is India’s largest tech talent hub, and consumer-facing companies have a difficult time attracting and retaining top talent in this highly competitive market. This was especially true for 7-Eleven, a familiar brand in the U.S., but one that was just trying to get a foothold in the Indian market. The company needed a space that could help establish the 7-Eleven brand while also building a relationship with local talent.
The new 7-Eleven Global Solution Centre in Bangalore features a visually overt aesthetic realization of the brand. Inspired by the brand’s latest advertising campaign tagline, “Take it to Eleven,” the new workplace emphasizes an unwavering dedication to amplifying customers’ joy with employee-centric amenities like a grab-n-go Tuk Tuk, an arcade, gym, and juice bar. The dynamic workspace combines traditional office space with purpose-driven social hubs and recharge zones that seamlessly integrate the principles of global stores into an innovative workspace program.
With its iconic brand at the forefront, the new office is attracting talent with a combination of familiar brand recognition and local design elements that has established a strong presence for 7-Eleven in India. The engaging environment is being used as a recruiting tool that appeals to prospective talent, while at the same time supports worker needs with cutting-edge technology and a productive workplace experience.
