The Oviedo Medical Tower redefines healthcare by prioritizing patient comfort and well-being through thoughtful design. Located within one of Medellín’s most iconic shopping centers, this 10,000-square-meter project combines medical offices, clinics, operating rooms, and retail spaces, offering a unique mix of services that sets it apart from traditional medical towers.
The design addresses patient care challenges with shared reception areas to optimize flow and focus on warm, inviting aesthetics. Biophilic elements, natural lighting, and warm materials like wood replace the coldness of traditional medical settings, fostering tranquility and promoting recovery. The project integrates hospitality, wellness, and flexible workspaces, enhancing both patient and specialist experiences.
This innovative approach transforms medical visits into a more human and personal experience. The integration with the shopping center allows users to enjoy retail, dining, and relaxation before or after appointments, establishing a new standard in Medellín that ensures comfort, trust, and community engagement.
