Foundation Medicine Headquarters

Located in Boston’s Seaport District, Foundation Medicine’s new headquarters is a vibrant vertical campus that unites the organization’s scientists and administrative teams under one roof. Throughout the 600,000-square-foot space, designing for a sense of community and connection was paramount. The team created purpose-driven interiors encompassing workplace, labs, and amenities, all developed with close integration of environmental graphics and change management communication. The lab-focused floors are intentionally designed with lab space at the building’s core and workplace neighborhoods at the perimeter, supporting business functionality while also promoting engagement with the company’s work, culture, and mission. An extensive outdoor roof terrace further enhances the employee experience.
