Phoenix Mercury Training Facility

Just in time for the 2024 season start, Gensler has partnered with the Phoenix Mercury, the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) team, to design a new facility specifically aimed to redefine the way women athletes train and prepare for games.

The new 58,000-square-foot facility will have two courts, 10 baskets, a fitness center, hydrotherapy facilities, a film room, an expansive locker room, a family lounge, and a kitchen with a dedicated chef. Adjacent to the building will be the new headquarters for both the Phoenix Suns and the Mercury, a 63,000-square-foot space that will feature employee amenities such as indoor and outdoor basketball courts, a pickleball court, a putting green, workout facilities, an arcade, and a kitchen.
