Challenge

As autonomous driving and AI technologies advance to a more everyday reality, consumers need an introduction to the technology and the associated related lifestyle shifts. For brands trying to court consumers into using new services and products, the greatest challenge is in translating new ideas into easily graspable concepts. Virtual reality headsets, immersive digital experiences, and other technologies offer an intriguing new way to pull consumers into what’s possible.

Solution

Gensler worked with Jidu to create an experience center that brings together a variety of interactive experiences to introduce customers to their self-driving robotic car. Digital applications, interactive media content, hi-tech robotic service elements, and a full slate of person-to-person community events create a futuristic retail experience known as the Roboverse. By immersing users in a physical-digital environment, Jidu provides a unique view into the Robocar’s aesthetics, technologies, and driving experience.
