Gensler repositioned this relatively new building to make it appealing to the rapidly growing market of creative tenants in the Los Angeles area. Comprising two office buildings, a courtyard and a parking garage, i|O’s Playa Vista campus has been transformed into a compelling, collaborative indoor/outdoor workplace wrapped in a distinct and memorable architectural language. The repositioning includes new exterior courtyard stairs, large decks, roll-up doors, and extensive landscaping and other outdoor amenities. The surrounding 20-acre parkland now offers a vibrant setting, incorporating native landscapes, athletic courts and fields, a skateboard park, entertainment venues and new and planned housing.
