University of South Carolina Football Operations Building

Quackenbush Architects and Gensler Sports partnered to design the 110,000-square-foot Football Operations Building at the University of South Carolina. This facility influences the future performance of Gamecock players, teams and coaches. With a focus on experiential design that helps to tell the Gamecock story, this state-of-the-art facility efficiently supports current players and staff, while inspiring future student athletes. Improved spaces for coaching and teaching optimize the training process in a branded environment. Additional program elements include 33,000+ square feet dedicated weight room and training spaces, a players’ lounge, flexible dining and event space for recruitment and donor initiatives, meeting rooms, administrative offices, locker rooms and more.
