The Washington Post
Washington, DC
This new home for The Washington Post exudes flexibility, modernity and connectivity—fitting for a dynamic company in a high-speed and rapidly changing industry. The design was conceived as an opportunity to pay homage to the news outlet's iconic history while paving the way for a dynamic new frontier. By breaking down barriers, a natural flow between workspaces and circulation enhances the organization’s workplace culture and productivity. Open ceilings, concrete floors and exposed columns express the space’s raw architecture. Bright pops of color complement the primarily black-and-white scheme, with bold newspaper graphics and headlines accenting walls and glass surfaces.
