Original Pattern Brewing Company

Located in an industrial brick warehouse, Original Pattern Brewing Company's brewery and tasting room melds historicity with a modern flair—and is a showcase for the unique, award-winning old-world beers that they create. It was important to the founders to preserve as much of the building's original character as possible, while updating the space to meet the functional requirements of a brewery and tasting room. The design left much of the wooden beams and trusses on the curved ceiling, as well as the red-brick walls, exposed—showcasing the building's raw structure. The result is an open, cathedral-like space that makes for an impressive arrival experience for locals and visitors alike. Natural light from the skylights and elevated windows along the perimeter imbue the interiors with soft lighting, bringing a sense of intimacy and coziness to the cavernous, double-story space.
