Miller Canfield

One of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in Michigan, Miller Canfield sought to renovate its Detroit headquarters, while modernizing to attract and retain talent. In consolidating the firm’s space, the Gensler design team instituted a cost-saving “build-in-place” program that resulted in minimal disruption to staff as the project proceeded. In addition to increasing efficiencies and staff interaction significantly, the offices provide increased transparency, views and access to natural daylight, with energy-efficient lighting fixtures, technology and security integrated seamlessly in the new space.
