Overlooking Chapultepec Park and enjoying expansive views of the city’s most recognizable landmarks, this global investment firm’s new office reflects the dynamic urbanism of Mexico City. For the floor plan, the Gensler team drew inspiration from maps of the various cities where the client operates. Designed with the urban pedestrian in mind, workspaces branch out from pathways that cross like city streets. Glass-fronted offices and floor-to-ceiling windows bring the city inside while eight conference rooms organized along the perimeter take advantage of the city as a backdrop. The new office appeals to all generations, providing a balance of focus and collaboration spaces, and its flexibility allows room for future growth and modulation.
