To support Greenberg Traurig’s Tokyo office relocation, Gensler created a workplace design tailored to the international law firm’s culture, featuring a modern Japanese theme. The reception, serving as the first impresion of Greenberg Traurig’s new office, showcases walls inspired by Japanese architecture and gardens. The work cafe features kimono-patterned wallpaper and lighting fixtures shaped like folding fans. Inspired by the office’s view of the Imperial Palace and cherry blossoms, the space is unified with royal purple and pink accents. Adjacent to the work cafe, the law firm’s seminar room has adjustable partitions, offering flexible configurations for various events.

法律事務所、グリーンバーグ・トラウリグの日本における拠点の事務所移転プロジェクト。ゲンスラーはモダンな日本らしさをテーマに、プロフェッショナルサービスファームに相応しいワークプレイスをデザインした。

受付は、木材仕上げの壁や砂紋をモチーフにしたグリーンウォールを取り入れ、日本建築と庭園の趣を感じられる空間に。ワークカフェには、着物柄の壁紙や扇子を思わせる照明を採用し、ローカルカルチャーを表現。皇居と桜の景色にインスパイアされたロイヤルパープルとピンクのアクセントカラーで統一した。隣接するセミナールームには可動間仕切りを設け、イベント時には広々とした一体空間として活用できる柔軟な設計としている。
