Corferias 2030

After successful completion of the competition to design the new Bogotá International Convention Center (Agora Bogotá), programmed and managed by Gensler, and delivery of its 2020 Master Plan, Corferias retained Gensler for a third time to expand the original master plan to the area adjacent to the exhibition venue and the new convention center. The goal was to establish an overall vision for a comprehensive, new mixed-use district within the city and guide the new urban development resulting from key private and public initiatives in the area. Gensler's new vision aligns with the Bogotá administration's desire to create a more human, active, and sustainable expanded central area, and uses the exhibition complex and the future CICB as a platform to spark innovation initiatives and new mixed-use development opportunities.
