Celularity

Supporting the vision of Celularity, a commercial-stage cell therapeutics company, Gensler was selected as part of a design-build team to deliver a new headquarters with a bio-manufacturing facility. The three-story existing suburban office building was repositioned to include 9 GMP ready suites, a cord blood banking facility as well as development lab and class A office space to support the rapidly growing startup. The client challenged the design-build team to complete the design and construction of the GMP facility within 323 days, including building analysis and selection. Gensler curated a visitor journey through the new headquarters that puts laboratories on display and provides investors, patients, and new recruits a window into the state-of-the-art, world-class facility bringing unique CAR-T stem cell therapies to market.
