Celebrity Cruises EDGE

Celebrity Cruises approached Gensler to strategize, design, and develop an elevated guest experience for their newest, most modern and luxurious ship, EDGE, through a fully integrated signage and wayfinding system. Dubbed “A Playful Wink,” EDGE’s universal signage narrative has a distinctly cheeky personality, akin to a boutique hotel experience, that informs the ship’s more than 3,500 signs and 200 sign types. EDGE’s extensive and visually elegant wayfinding system, complete with clever pictograms, integrates holistically with the interior finishes.  Gensler also designed and implemented 33 of the ship’s amenity identities — including spas, restaurants, shops, and more — collaborating closely with the ship's interior designers to ensure each brand felt unique and authentic.
