Situated on the 18th floor of 1111 Broadway in Oakland’s central, transit-rich business district, the new space does away with assigned offices and seating, cultivating a “work-anywhere” mobility that lets employees circulate and collaborate. To achieve this functional and flexible office environment, Gensler created an open space with minimal clutter and different workspaces — including private focus rooms, huddle rooms, interactive conference rooms, open team areas, and a touchdown space — that support the varying workstyles of the company’s workforce.
