Patricia Nobre Named a Boston Business Journal 40 Under 40 Honoree
BOSTON — Gensler is delighted to announce that Senior Design Strategist Patricia Nobre has been selected as one of the Boston Business Journal’s 2020 40 Under 40 Honorees.
Patricia is a multi-talented designer who has dedicated her career to helping diverse communities and cultures reimagine the spaces in which we live, work, and learn. A leader in the research and design of more inclusive and accessible education and healthcare, she has positively impacted the civic and community health of Boston and beyond.
Drawing on advanced degrees in both architecture and education, Patricia works with clients across industries to realize projects that further their mission and contribute to building healthier, wiser, and more equitable communities. Her work is rooted in the firm belief that design is a co-creation, and she is steadfast in balancing research and data with real voices through proactive community engagement and user feedback.
A frequent blogger and speaker, Patricia has presented at SCUP, SXSWedu, and educational conferences internationally. Within the office, she serves as a professional mentor to junior staff and provides leadership for Gensler’s robust summer intern program.
She is a passionate partner with the National Organization of Minority Architects, City Year, and Dorchester’s Codman Square Community Garden, engaging on a local level to realize impactful change within some of Boston’s most underserved neighborhoods. In her personal life, Patricia is an active resident of her Dorchester neighborhood, where she participates in furthering conversations around social determinants of health and racial trauma.
