Co‑Managing Director, Health Sector Leader, Principal

As Co-Managing Director of Gensler Chicago, Meghan is driven by her lifelong passion for shaping human experiences. She has guided business strategy, built client engagement, and grown her expertise in education, health, sciences, and civic markets at Gensler for nearly 15 years. Currently, she is also a Global Health Sector Leader, supporting the practice area’s focus on innovation.

Meghan is a licensed architect with experience leading all phases of the design process, empowering teams and clients to collaborate to foster success across all project scales and typologies. Her notable project work includes mHUB Innovation Center, Purdue University Mitch Daniels School of Business, and Wichita State University Barton School of Business. Meghan’s ability to cultivate long-term relationships has led to numerous projects with the University of Illinois, Columbia College Chicago, and Western Kentucky University. Her interest in education extends to mentorship—she is an advocate for elevating the next generation of talent.

Meghan is a notable thought leader in the industry, regularly contributing to publications and speaking at conferences including SCUP, IIDA, ULI and SXSWedu. She has been recognized by Building Design + Construction and Crain’s Chicago Business and currently serves on the Urban Land Institute’s University Development and Innovation National Product Council, ULI Chicago’s Women’s Leadership Initiative Advisory Board, and ULI Chicago’s Advisory Board. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and her Master of Architecture from M.I.T.
