John is a Principal and Design Director in Gensler’s New York office. With his focus on workplaces for tech, media, financial services, and consumer goods companies, he couples boundless imagination with a collaborative process rooted in his client’s goals and culture. No two of John’s designs look alike, which makes him a sought-after resource for creative companies and start-ups looking to make a statement. He is a generous mentor and creative problem-solver whose approach is characterized by his unflappable demeanor, thoughtful design, and flawless execution. His work has been published in Interior Design, Contract, and Metropolitan Home. In addition to his more 25 years of design experience, John is a former company pianist for the Atlanta Ballet.
