Co‑Managing Director, Principal
As Co-Managing Director of our Raleigh-Durham office, Chad has more than 20 years of experience in interiors and base building projects. A Registered Architect, Chad has led a variety of award-winning design projects, including hospitality, corporate headquarters, life sciences and mixed-use developments. Having co-founded a local design firm prior to joining Gensler, Chad utilizes his experience as a business owner to understand the challenges that clients face and to advise them on their design vision, as well as on the operational and budget implications of design decisions. Chad serves as a leader in many professional and community organizations, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Triangle Chapter, where he was a member of the Board of Directors, Habitat for Humanity and Backpack Buddies. He is a sought-after speaker and has presented to numerous organizations, including the Carolinas Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, AIA Triangle Chapter and North Carolina State University. Chad is a past President of North Carolina State University’s Young Alumni Council and is a frequent design juror for the University’s School of Architecture, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture.
