Working closely with the SPX executive team, Gensler helped to identify the traits that would be embodied in their nine-story headquarters: It had to be as generous and gracious as their last space, but with a major boost to the amenities. Gensler designed an elegant, timeless workplace where public areas are a focus. With a fitness center included, pantries on each floor function as town centers; the first-floor bistro serves as a crossroads for employees and guests. A 300-seat auditorium and multipurpose conference center host large gatherings. The result is a stimulating, sophisticated and inviting work environment.
