This four-story building changes the way the Land Use Environmental Services Agency (LUESA) interfaces with the community by offering a welcoming, collaborative experience where “customers are served.” Zones of activity accommodate program and departmental needs while small conference areas cluster around elevator lobbies, enabling public and private meetings to occur as needed. A cheerful color scheme of green and blue (land and water) boldly reflect Mecklenburg County’s commitment to precious natural resources.
