Lawndale Gateway Project

The Lawndale Gateway Project is comprised of the One Lawndale Children’s Discovery Center, a multi-functional fun learning exploratory space serving the North and South Lawndale neighborhoods of Chicago. The project has several functions: First, as a state-of-the-art children’s museum and learning center that celebrates the diverse culture of Lawndale and inspires children and their families. Additionally, the project will serve as the home of North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council (NLCCC), the parent organization of the children’s museum and the organization charged with operationalizing North Lawndale’s award-winning quality of life plan along with other community focused services.
