Corinda Wong and Brian Corbett Promoted to Co-Managing Directors

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Gensler, the leading global architecture, design, and planning firm, announces the promotion of Corinda Wong and Brian Corbett to Co-Managing Directors of Gensler’s San Jose, California office. Corinda and Brian will lead the San Jose office in designing human experiences that enrich people and communities throughout Silicon Valley and in downtown San Jose. They will be drivers in the continued growth of the firm focusing on building client relationships and dedication to their teams’ professional development.

Corinda joined Gensler in 2007 and brings her 25 years of experience to a range of industry and client types. She is a Senior Associate, Design Director and a People First leader who works with top technology clients and has designed award-winning projects, including SAP’s HanaHaus in Palo Alto, Moment in San Jose, and State Street Market in Los Altos. In addition to her design role, she is the office Consumer Goods Practice Area leader. Corinda has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from San Jose State University where she is a frequent guest lecturer and participant in student project reviews.

Brian Corbett is a Senior Associate and Gensler’s regional Technology Workplace practice area with over 20 years architecture and interior design experience. He has led multidisciplinary studios and teams in workplace design projects for some of the most innovative technology companies in Silicon Valley and globally. Within the community, Brian serves on the San Jose Downtown Association Board of Directors, chairs for the San Jose Downtown Design Committee, is an active member of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and SPUR. Brian earned a MArch from Columbia University in 2002 and is a Registered Architect in the State of California.
