A Design Principal and Co-Leader of Gensler Denver’s Flex 2 Studio, Jonas is an award-winning designer across multiple practice areas with an ability to inspire clients to think differently and deliver impactful design solutions. His proven design skill, attention to detail, and ability to develop and manage projects from concept design to construction administration garner respect from project teams, colleagues, and clients. Jonas is an advocate for design, providing thought-provoking discourse and an exploratory design process that inspires his clients to think more broadly.
Jonas’ projects span across Aviation, Office Developers, Residential, and Hospitality. He has been published widely, including Dezeen, Designboom, Architizer, Architect Magazine, and ArchDaily, and his accolades include one of the architecture industry’s highest honors: the 2014 AIA National Institute Honor Award for the design of Jackson Hole Airport. Most recently, the Eagle County Regional Airport has been recognized by the AIA Colorado Chapter with the 2020 Award of Distinction, as well as the Prix Versailles World’s Most Beautiful Airport Award. Jonas earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.
